Storytime for Adults: Trivial Pursuit
Why should kids have all the fun? Join the La Crescent Public Library’s local librarians and performers as they read favorite short stories and essays. This month’s theme is Trivial Pursuit — featuring fun facts and rabbit holes to fall down. Food and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. For ages 21+ only; stories may include adult content.
VITA Free Tax Assistance — Last Day!
April 9th is the final session of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program at the La Crescent Library. Free tax preparation has been available every Thursday since February 5th. La Crescent City Council Meeting

Raising Rainbows is an inclusive playgroup for LGBTQIA+ families, co-hosted by the La Crescent Public Library, La Crosse Public Library, The Center, and The Parenting Place. Enjoy storytime and a craft at The Center, then walk to Cameron Park for Muscles in Motion and outdoor playtime. Best for ages 3–7; all are welcome. First-time families will be asked to sign a general waiver upon arrival.

Inspired by the book The Anxious Generation, this program explores rising anxiety, depression, and digital disconnection among youth, and invites the whole community to engage with what matters most. Things to Do in La Crescent This Spring
Spring is one of the best times to hit the bluff trails before the summer crowds. Eagles Bluff Park (access via Red Apple Drive) and Vetsch Park (west end of N. 2nd St) offer stunning views of the Mississippi River Valley. The Table Rock / Eagle Bluff Loop is a local favorite with 636 ft of elevation gain.
