La Crescent Farmers Market
Every Tuesday, 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Veteran’s Park Parking Lot, 509 N Chestnut St. Fresh produce, baked goods, honey, meats, and artisan goods. Family-friendly, with Storytime and Craft Kits provided by the La Crescent Public Library. Accepts EBT, credit, and debit cards.
SAIL – La Crescent
Thursday mornings starting at 9:00 AM at Old Hickory Park, 393 Red Apple Dr. SAIL (Seniors and Adults in Leisure) is a community fitness program offered through the City’s Parks & Recreation department — a great low-key way to enjoy La Crescent’s outdoor spaces.
La Crescent Rotary Club Meetings
In-person meetings on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month at 25 S. Walnut St., La Crescent. The Rotary Club is active in community service, senior meal delivery, and local project support. Visitors and prospective members are welcome.
Pine Creek Golf Course
La Crescent’s public 9-hole course at 3815 North Pine Creek Road is open daily through the summer season. Green fees, cart rentals, and seasonal passes available. Call (507) 895-2410 for tee times. A local classic surrounded by bluffland scenery.
La Crescent City Council Meetings
The La Crescent City Council meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 5:00 PM. Meetings are open to the public. June 2026 meetings fall on June 8 and June 22. Agendas are posted at City Hall on Fridays before each meeting. Current city business includes the 2026 Boulevard Tree Program, the Walnut Street Reconstruction Project, and the Active Transportation Action Plan.
City Council InfoChicāhuac Exhibition Opening Reception
Celebrate the opening of Chicāhuac: Women’s Stories of Strength & Sacrifice from Rural Mexico to the Midwest — a moving exhibition honoring six women who are heroes to their families. The evening features an open house at 5:30 PM, followed by a formal program at 6:00 PM.
Enjoy refreshments, make a marigold craft, explore the exhibit, and hear from organizers about the inspiration behind these remarkable stories. The exhibition remains on display throughout the month, making it a wonderful stop any day the library is open.
Library EventsLa Crescent Live Concert: Mr. Blink
The 2026 La Crescent Live Summer Concert Series kicks off with Mr. Blink — a La Crosse-area staple for over 30 years. Led by singer/guitarist Mike Caucutt with pianist Nancy Stoll Caucutt and violinist Jessie McDonald, the band delivers infectious grooves blending rock, blues, country, and folk. In 2023 they won a WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) award for Blues, Country & Folk Album of the Year for their album Shine.
Bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food and beverage vendors will be on site. This free, family-friendly series is presented by La Crescent Live and the Lions Club of La Crescent.
La Crescent LiveAnimals on the Road (Summer Reading Program)
Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center brings live animal ambassadors to town for this engaging Summer Reading Program event. A professional educator leads an interactive presentation featuring skunks, raptors, reptiles, or amphibians — sparking curiosity and inspiring real connections with local wildlife. Great for families and kids of all ages.
Library EventsBotanical Mocktail Experience with Hona Goods
A unique blend of education, storytelling, and sensory experience hosted by the La Crescent Public Library and sponsored by All of Us Research Program and Emplify Health. Throughout this workshop you’ll discover beginner-friendly tips for growing herbs suited for teas, syrups, and infusions; learn the basics of mocktail formulation; sample a variety of herbal mocktails; and take home recipes and inspiration for everyday herbal beverages.

Raising Rainbows is a welcoming, inclusive playgroup for LGBTQIA+ families, organized as a partnership between The Center, the La Crosse Public Library, the La Crescent Public Library, and The Parenting Place. Join for storytime and a craft at The Center, then walk together to Cameron Park for Muscles in Motion and outdoor play. First-time families will be asked to sign a general waiver upon arrival.

Back by popular demand, Double Take is a five-piece band made up of renowned musicians from the La Crosse area. They specialize in high-energy classic rock and variety music with a danceable flair — expect plenty of 70s and 80s hits that will get the whole crowd moving. Grab your lawn chairs, bring the family, and enjoy food and drink from on-site vendors.
This is the second of five free outdoor concerts in La Crescent’s 2026 summer concert season, presented by La Crescent Live and the Lions Club of La Crescent.
La Crescent LiveLead-Free Pewter Casting with Pedal to the Metal
Cast your very own small sculpture, pendant, keychain, pin, or magnet with Pedal to the Metal — a traveling foundry bringing hands-on metalworking to the community. You’ll cast at least one small piece, finish it using basic metalworking hand tools and inks, and take it home. This is a drop-in event, so stop by any time between 3–6 PM. Children under age 9 should plan to have an adult assistant. A genuinely rare and memorable experience for all ages.
Library EventsBird & Bug Brigade Nature Hike
Join author Teresa Veraguth at the Community Building for a brief storytime featuring her book Small Hands Can Help – Minnesota, then head out on a guided “Bird & Bug Brigade” nature hike along Wagon Wheel Trail, starting at the pedestrian bridge. Grown-ups can bring a smartphone to learn community science apps; kids can use the scavenger hunt handouts to find the items on the trail. A wonderful way to wrap up June in the Driftless Area.

La Crescent sits at the foot of the Mississippi River Bluffs, and June is prime time to explore the city’s remarkable network of bluffland parks and natural trails. The City of La Crescent asks visitors to be mindful of trail conditions — if you leave footprints or tire tracks, the trail may still be too soft. Kaddy’s Kafe
A La Crescent classic. Breakfast served all day, plus burgers, homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, and locally made pies, cinnamon rolls, and cheesecakes. Friday night fish fry is a community tradition. Open daily.

La Crescent’s northside go-to for casual dining and community gathering. One of the area’s favorite neighborhood spots with a welcoming atmosphere and strong local following — a great place to unwind after a summer concert or afternoon on the trails.

La Crescent-Hokah Lancer All-School Reunion
Celebrating 60 years of La Crescent-Hokah High School, this all-alumni reunion on Saturday, July 18 is one of the biggest community events of the summer. The full day includes trail hikes (8–11 AM), a 9-hole golf outing at Pine Creek, school tours (9 AM–noon), an alumni band performance at the high school track (1–2 PM), and the main reunion event (2–10 PM) featuring live music, cornhole, food, beverages, Lancer memorabilia, and more. The evening before (Friday, July 17), La Crescent Live hosts LP And The 45’s in conjunction with the reunion.
